Deal Drove takes coupon feeds from thousands of merchants and combines them with a growing collection of user submitted coupons. In addition to having an immense coupon database, Deal Drove is also aggregating product information from all online merchants and promises to be a world class price comparison engine. Deal Drove is the flagship website to a large network of niche deal sites and shopping blogs.

Coupon sites are a dime a dozen these days… why Deal Drove? That is the main question we wanted to answer with the brand strategy. These coupons can usually be found anywhere, but it is not the content that makes Deal Drove unique. We wanted to create an honest, reliable site to help families and individuals save money.

A lot of these coupon/deal sites are riddled with ads, spam, and errant or outdated information. First we wanted to establish that this company was run by people, for people, so we put the owners faces and stories on the about page. Secondly we took this idea of “The Drove” very deep into the brand strategy. We broke out niche sites with their own individual mascot and identity and users are encouraged to “Find their Drove.” The idea is that the individual communities will drive the content of the site and help one another save. Hence the slogan “Together we save.” After the brand strategy was in place the identity and logo creation was easy and fun. The web design however was a little tougher. The design underwent multiple sweeping revisions. It started out overly complicated but we continued taking things away until we were left with a clean, easy to use design.
